Pronunciation of Plauché in Long Island, New York
Plo-SHAY Plo as in flow. It is a name from France. Due to no accent marks in English it is misspelled as Plauche. The pronunciation you have for Plauche is probably wrong for the above reason, and probably does not even exist as a name at all. The Plauchés moved to New Orleans before the Louisiana Purchase, around 1762. I am a descendant in the family on my mother's side. I am Mark Plauché Ryan. reply to: [email protected]. Thanks for your interest and attention.
